About Me
My name is Tommy, and this blog is my journey back to health—one step at a time. In my teens and 20s, fitness was a passion. I was in the best shape of my life, but somewhere along the way, life got in the way. I stopped caring about my health, and before I knew it, I was in the worst shape of my life, facing the harsh reality of diabetes and high blood pressure.
Losing both of my parents to heart problems was my wake-up call. My dad passed away when I was younger, and not too long ago, my mom followed. It was a painful reminder that I was on the same path. But instead of giving in, I decided to take control and start reversing my health problems—just like I did in my younger years.
This blog is my way of sharing what I’ve learned and what I continue to learn about managing diabetes and improving heart health. I’m using the same old-fashioned methods that kept me fit and healthy before, and they’re helping me turn my life around now. From diet tips to exercise routines, I’m here to share my thoughts, experiences, and tips with anyone who wants to take control of their health, too.
